Our very good friends Funeral suits are in town tonight to play the London leg of their UK tour. Last week they played the Camden Crawl to a packed out show in the purple turtle, which I can only describe as epic. We recommend you go see them.
The suits release their debut album in the next couple of weeks titled “lily of the valley”. I’ve had a sneaky listen and it really is an enjoyable listen, packed full of synth’s and shit!.
Here’s the Funeral Suits website which I’m gonna throw out there and tell you all I built it, CHECK MY SKILLZZ! buy a t-shirt or sumit.
Well hello folks! here at the musiclovemakers corporation we strive to bring you all the tools needed to help you get fucked at a mental rave up, such as sweaty rooms, terribly load & banging music, sexual instruments, UV injection bits, alcohol and ketamine. Moving on….. since we love the music an all I thought I’d write another bit about some music goers that we have the pleasure of knowing, these fella’s go by the name of the Funeral Suits. Now before I start I just want to point out that I’m not writing this because I’m being held at gun point (wink wink, help me!) nor am I ripping off some other guy who wrote something about them but I am writing cause I think these guys fucking rock!
So what are the Funeral Suits? well they’re a 3 piece rock, indie electronic, what ever genre you’d want to give em band. They are quite new on the scene but in their short time together they have amassed an impressive line of gigs and worked and played with some key music industry heads. In the past year they supported bands like The Maccabees, Passion Pit, Local Natives and most notably had a stint in the studio with Blur and The Smiths producer Stephen Street. They are not long back from playing at Canada Music week, are playing the Europavox Festival France in May and are here in London on the 20th of April. If you have not listened to them yet well here is their Myspace. If you like the sound of them there then wait until you hear them live, the sounds that they make with their collection of synthesizer’s, guitars and fuck load of pedals really is a mind blow and we musiclovemakers recommend you get down and see these fella’s rock it out!
Their playing here on the 20th for Club Fandango at the Buffalo Bar in Islington, also some supports, check This for all the info.
