I was so excited to see Jack White I thought I would wet myself. I was quite disappointed that I was sitting in the circle and not standing downstairs but I soon got over that as he started with “Dead Leaves On The Dirty Ground”. Backed by an all (Hot) Female band he ripped his way through his own solo work, which was better live than on record also The Raconteurs, The Dead Weather (where i was hoping Allison Mosshart would come out) and of course quite a few White Stripes tracks.

He played for around 2 hours which seems to be a rarity, Lastly ending with one of my favourite songs ever “Seven Nation Army”. As I left the building I realised I had seen something quite special in Mr White that you don’t see very often… a true genius.
